Egmond: traditionally a fishing village and now one of the most popular seaside resorts in Holland. EuroParcs de Woudhoeve is located in Egmond aan den Hoef, which together with Egmond-Binnen and Egmond aan Zee makes up 'Egmond'.
There is a lot to do in Egmond, all year round. The autumn is perfect for a long walk on the beach, and in winter, there is a charming Christmas market and the annual New Year's Dive is organised. In the spring, you will be treated to flowering bulb fields and in the summer you can, of course, take a dip in the North Sea and you can lounge, have a drink or eat at one of the many terraces along the coast.
The village is home to the oldest abbey in Holland. Sint-Adelbertabdij was founded in the tenth century and can still be visited today. The J.C.J. van Speijk lighthouse is situated on the coast of Egmond aan Zee, and is the oldest active lighthouse in Holland.
